Vibracoring is a method used to extract samples of unconsolidated sediment cores. Vibracoring is a versatile sampling methodology and can work in various water depths, it is most often used in underwater or wetland locations e.g. in a shallow coastal area.
Underwater concreting is a critical concreting process performed for offshore construction. It involves the process of carefully placing fresh concrete underwater. As construction in water results in many difficulties, the start to end of an underwater construction requires special care, supervision and planning. For example, the construction of the foundation and piles to support the bridge crossing a river, or a dock construction.
Piles and structures are cleaned with either HP water jetting, hydraulic barnacle buster or hand tools to allow inspection and maintenance to be undertaken. We are familiar with WSCAM inspection requirement and Transport and Main Roads, Structures Inspection criteria.
